National Co-ordinating Institute
The NACI is the co-ordinating institution responsible for EAFRINET activities within a particular member state. It is responsible for: 
  • Nominating a national co-ordinator (person and post) and allocate time within the post's schedule for the execution of NACI responsibilities.
  • Co-ordinating national EAFRINET activities and programs.
  • Serving as the national representative on the LCC.
  • Liaising with and exchange information with other NACIs and the NECI.
  • Implementing the decisions and recommendations of the LCC at national level.
  • Providing, as delegated, leadership and support for working groups, task forces, and other programs. 

  • Providing feed-back to and from national institutes.
